I build open-source software for neuroscience, mostly around functional ultrasound imaging (fUSI).
My PhD (PSL University, at Physics for Medicine Paris, with Mickaël Tanter and Sophie Pezet) asked whether the brain’s spatial navigation system also has a vascular code. Using fUSI in freely moving rats, I found that brain blood flow in the hippocampus tracks running speed (paper).
Somewhere along the way I realized the analysis code was the part I enjoyed most. Now I spend my time on tools that make fUSI data easier to process, share and look at, mainly ConfUSIus, which I co-lead with Samuel Le Meur-Diebolt. I care about reproducible workflows, and I cannot deny I have a soft spot for visualization aesthetics.
